Dr Alister Miskimmon, Prof Ben O'Loughlin, Dr James Sloam and Dr Kaat Smets are now partners in the Jean Monnet Network “C3EU - Crisis, Conflict and Critical Diplomacy: The EU Perceptions in Ukraine and Israel/Palestine”. This is a 3-year project led up by Prof Natalia Chaban and Prof Martin Holland at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand with colleagues from The National Institute for Strategic Studies, Kyiv, Ukraine; Ben Gurion University of the Negev, Israel; TU Darmstadt, Germany; Vytautas Magnus University (VMU), Lithuania; KU Leuven, Belgium.

The project runs from 2015-2018 and involves the collection of new data by research teams in Ukraine and Israel/Palestine, focusing on local perceptions of EU diplomacy.

Royal Holloway's team focuses on training research teams in Ukraine and Israel/Palestine using Q-Sort Analysis, and in the strategic narrative analysis of the data collected.

The project's website can be accessed here.
